The brief was to create an identity, assets and packaging guidelines for Wilko’s Halloween range. The design has so far been used across 2020, 2021 and 2022 Halloween events on packaging and POS.
The creative, including a full bespoke typeface and illustrations translated into packaging, POS, website communications and product development.
The colour palette, bespoke logo and jaggered typography was a clear departure from the wash of orange seen in previous years.
Illustrations were used to offer a boost of colour and personality with detailing that would look unmistakably Halloween. By developing the style alongside an illustrator, we were able to strike the right balance between suitability for kids, students and adults.
